California Orienteering Week is a seven-day Nationally sanctioned event organized by the Bay Area Orienteering Club (BAOC) and Gold Country Orienteers (GCO).
Stage 6 and 7 are held at Deer Creek Hills Preserve. Recognized as U.S. National Ranking Events, the two days will feature a full suite of advanced competitive courses (Orange and up in difficulty) as well as recreational courses (White, Yellow). Saturday's courses (March 24) will be slightly longer than the courses offered on Sunday (March 25).
Special Note: The trials for the U.S. team that will compete in the 2018 Junior World Orienteering Championships (JWOC) will be held at the final three days of COW! The team selected will compete at JWOC in Hungary in July 2018.
All registration and information is available through Bay Area Orienteering Club.
