About the Band: Papa Hip plays its own brand of soul, jazz, blues, rock, reggae and Latin music. Steve Hopcraft plays keyboards, harmonica and sings in the group that features Earl Lagomarsino, on guitar; Owen Jackman on bass; John Burton on drums; Dave De La Vega on percussion; and, Don Coats on sax.
About the Venue: Enjoy local tunes in a casual outdoor environment. The Sacramento Valley Conservancy is proud to announce the 2018 Concert in the Parkway concert series at Camp Pollock. Picnic tables and Adirondack chairs are first come, first serve. Concerts are held every first Thursday of the month from 6pm-8pm, April through October. Bring your own picnic basket & blanket or camp chairs!
Camp Pollock is just 3 miles from the capitol building, located between 160 and Garden Highway. All donations help the Sacramento Valley Conservancy protect open space, for all of us! With more than 18,000 acres protected in the greater Sacramento area.
