Event:   Monthly Mountain Bike Tour
Start Date:   Saturday, September 8, 2018
Time:   8:00am-11:00am
Location:   Deer Creek Hills Preserve
Limit:   20 people
Deadline:   9/8/2018

Mountain Bike Docents will escort riders on climbing single track, cattle paths, and ranch roads. Docents will share their knowledge about the preserve, with guide topics highlighting historical use, including Native American, gold mining and ranching history and biology of this Blue Oak Woodland and more.

While this pastureland serves as a working cattle ranch during November through May, cattle have proven to be superb designers for single track trails!  This venue is simply great for experienced riders with knowledge of shifting to lower gears for climbing hills. This is not considered a beginner's course.
Riders are responsible for bringing their own bike and personal riding equipment, including helmet, tire repair kits, spare tubes, pumps and cell phone when cycling on the property. No exceptions.  Mountain bikes or CycloCross bikes with knobby tires recommended.  Road bikes or slick tires are not recommended.
Riding in sandals or open toed shoes are not allowed.  Please wear clothing appropriate for weather conditions and mountain biking. Bring your signed Liability Form, water supply and high energy snacks. Print your directions to Deer Creek Hills HERE.
Approximately 8-11 miles are covered in 2-3 hours of riding.

Gates open at 7:45 bike out by 8:15am.

Ask about $50 season pass!

Space is limited for each ride – Sign-up online now! $10.00 registration fee.
