C’mon down to the river to hear the Papa Hip! Enjoy local tunes in a casual outdoor environment. The Sacramento Valley Conservancy is proud to announce the 2019 Concert on the Parkway series at Camp Pollock. Picnic tables and Adirondack chairs are first come, first serve. Concerts are held on select Thursdays from 6pm-8pm, May through September. Bring your own picnic basket & blanket or camp chairs!
About the Band: Papa Hip
Steve Hopcraft plays keyboards, harmonica and sings in the group that features Earl Lagomarsino, on guitar; Owen Jackman on bass; Peter Bell on drums; Dave De La Vega on percussion; and, Don Coats on sax.
Papa Hip plays its own brand of soul, jazz, blues, rock and Latin music.

Camp Pollock is just 3 miles from the capitol building, located between 160 and Garden Highway. All donations help the Sacramento Valley Conservancy protect open space and maintain the beautiful, historic Camp Pollock property.
