The Sacramento Valley Conservancy invites you to explore Deer Creek Hills Preserve on your mountain bike every Monday night July - October. The self-guided trail rides will be offered for 2-3 hours in the evening.

All Monday Night rides are free. Suggested $10-$20 donations are greatly appreciated and help fund these outings.

Join Velofix for rides on the last Monday of each month!

Do you need some quick adjustments before your ride or have a spare bike that needs servicing? Bring your extra bikes to the Monday night rides and have velofix give you tune up while you are out riding! Velofix is a fully outfitted competitively priced mobile bike shop that carries many common parts and accessories, from tires and most drive train components to multi tools and chain lube! Feel free to drop in or contact directly to set up an appointment.

Come discover rolling savanna grasslands, dotted with dramatic blue oaks and open vistas at Sacramento's largest open space preserve by bicycle! Explore climbing single track, cattle paths, and ranch roads with a buddy, or by yourself. While this pastureland serves as a working cattle ranch during November through May, cattle have proven to be superb designers for single track trails!

This venue is ideal for experienced riders with knowledge of shifting to lower gears for climbing hills. This is not considered a beginner's course.

Riders are responsible for bringing their own bike and personal riding equipment, including helmet, tire repair kits, spare tubes, and pumps, and must carry a cell phone when cycling on the property. No exceptions. Mountain bikes or CycloCross bikes with knobby tires are recommended. Road bikes or slick tires are not recommended.

Sandals and open toed shoes are not allowed. Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather conditions and mountain biking. Bring your signed Liability Form, water supply and high energy snacks.
