Russell Austin, a Sacramento attorney specializing in commercial real estate and conservation transactions, has served on the Sacramento Valley Conservancy (SVC) Board of Directors for the past fifteen years. Russell served as SVC's President for 2005 and 2006 and currently serves as Trustee Emeritus.
Since the early 1980's, Russell has represented conservation organizations that help protect open spaces, working landscapes, natural resources, and wildlife habitats, and over that time has worked on more than 100 conservation projects.

He leads the firm's commercial real estate law team which was awarded "Tier One" rankings for practice excellence in the U.S. News – Best Lawyers "Best Law Firms" 2014 through 2017 reports.
