Self-Guided Hikes

Hike, stroll, meander or run. Self-guided hikes are for YOU! Explore the marked trails of Deer Creek Hills Preserve at your own speed Saturdays October through November and February through May. Visitors MUST: Pre-register and pay before 6pm on Friday and Complete a liability waiver before arriving. Donations are vital to maintaining the Preserve and offering public outings.

Astronomy Tour

Join Deer Creek Hills' docents for a guided tour under the stars at the darkest site in all of Sacramento County. Amateur astronomy has come a long way in the past few years. Prepare to be amazed! On this night, see hundreds of thousands suns crowded into the Hercules Cluster. Marvel at the shimmering "Wild Duck"
