Narrowleaf Milkweed (Asclepias fascicularis), also called Mexican whorled milkweed, is a perennial with clusters of lavender-white-tinted flowers. This plant is vital for Monarch butterfly larva. Milkweed may die back in winter and revive in spring, and expect some munching from aphids in addition to monarch caterpillars. More info at Calscape.
