Volunteer and Docent Opportunities

The Sacramento Valley Conservancy volunteer program is made up of dedicated individuals who place a high value on open space and its importance to the health and well-being of every person in our community. SVC volunteers are students, nurses, doctors, ranchers, administrators and everyday people who share a love of the outdoors. They run the spectrum of age, gender, culture and experience. Our volunteers give of their time and talents to promote and preserve the beautiful natural resources that make our region unique.

If you are interested in getting involved, there are a variety of ways you can help do the good work of land conservation with Sacramento Valley Conservancy. Interested in a long term commitment like becoming a Docent; leading guided trips into the open rangelands of Deer Creek Hills Preserve? Maybe you would just like to spend a Saturday giving back by dead heading flowers in our Camp Pollock native plants garden or supporting a special event like the Treasures of the Valley Fundraiser. If you have the heart to help, we have a volunteer opportunity for you!
